His-bundle pacing reduced the combined endpoint of death, heart failure hospitalization or upgrade to BiVP compared to conventional right ventricular pacing for bradycardia in a study published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology suggesting that permanent His-bundle pacing was safe and feasible in patients requiring permanent pacemakers.
